HBFF Filmmaking Workshops
Hervey Bay Film Festival offers filmmaking workshops to the Fraser Coast and surrounding communities.
Our workshops offer students the opportunity to learn filmmaking concepts, creative skills and gain practical experience through our hands-on modular workshops.
Workshops can be tailored to individuals, a group of friends, students and community groups.
Students are shown the basics of directing, camera, and lighting. Students are invited to write, direct and shoot a scene or short film project.
Our workshops help students tell the story they want to convey. We have Netflix-ready modern filmmaking equipment to make your filmmaking training look high-quality.
Workshops can be one-offs, although we recommend a minimum of four in order to learn the basics and end up with meaningful footage.
