About
I moved from Melbourne to London in 1986 where I worked for Molinare, the leading Soho video post-production house. I was soon lead sound engineer recording high-profile famous clients: pop stars, rock stars, musicians, actors and comedians.

Talent I recorded as sound engineer for TV, Narration, Radio: Charles Dance, Ian McShane, Joanna Lumley, Francis Magee (Francis starred in two of my London short Films I wrote, directed, produced: The Luck, The Victim) Wolf Kahler, Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones (co-wrote a song for Grace for TV). I met, worked with and socialised with many others… What happens on tour, stays on tour.

TV Programs I worked on were high-end Doc-Drama, arts and history documentaries, current affairs and music videos: Panorama, Equinox, Dispatches… I worked with award-winning directors, investigative journalists and reporters. Clients included major UK and US broadcasters: BBC, ITV, C4, Five, Cartoon Network, Turner, Discovery Channel, Sky… TV & Film production houses, bands and record companies.

I wrote, produced and directed short films, made music videos… then turned to writing music for TV with Carles Riba. We formed Planet X Productions, a music composition and production company. This writing partnership resulted in hundreds of music commissions for the main broadcasters. Genres were arts, history, science and documentary programmes – broadcast nationally and worldwide. We worked with Top 10 songwriters and some of the best session players and singers London had to offer. A dream job.

I spent time working for or contributing to various charities and good causes: British Army amputees from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, AIDs orphanage in Swaziland, an Orangutan sanctuary in Borneo.

I publish hyper-local London print-digital magazines under ‘Keep Things Local’ keepthingslocal.com
